Jeff has been working in the film industry for the past 15 years as a Visual Effects Supervisor, Coordinator, Camera Assistant and Electrician. He has taken part in union and non-union feature productions, shorts, television pilots and music videos. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, Jeff worked for the college as a full-time staff member in the Film and Television department. He was given the opportunity to be a teacher’s assistant for several film classes. He taught students about cameras (film and digital), camera maintenance and above all, safety. In 2013, Jeff relocated to Los Angeles to further his career in Visual Effects.
In his spare time, he works as an educational volunteer for Mole Richardson, a lighting company in Hollywood. He and other volunteers work alongside Larry Parker teaching college students and working-professionals about lighting techniques and safety. In addition to Visual Effects, Jeff enjoys the outdoors and teaching fly fishing classes to beginners, through an outreach program hosted by Orvis, an upscale fly fishing outfitter in Pasadena, California.
